Our Story

Rooted in Sustainability

Founded in 2018, Urban Petals brings modern floral design to the conscious urban dweller

Our Story

A Modern Approach to Floristry

Urban Petals was born from a simple belief: beautiful flowers shouldn't come at the expense of our environment. Founder Elena Martinez spent years working in traditional flower shops before recognizing the need for change.

In 2018, she opened Urban Petals in SoHo with a commitment to sourcing exclusively from local, sustainable farms within 100 miles of NYC. Every stem tells a story of ethical cultivation and mindful design.

Today, we're proud to serve thousands of clients who share our values—from intimate home deliveries to grand-scale installations for NYC's most discerning brands.
